Mine never drifts to the side. It has after being used a lot 200+ hrs started to drift downwards sometimes so I toss the pin lock on .

Hey guys I have a brand-new gc1720 my backhoe swing seems to drift towards the right as I'm working around the yard let's say with the loader. After 10 minutes of loader work the backhoe is angled Maybe 20 degrees and I have to reach back and straighten it out. I would assume there is something leaky in the valve body or maybe there's an adjustment on it?

See if you can get your valve changed under warranty. Depending on the hours they might even good grace your warranty.
