I'm thinking about purchasing a used 2 yr old L3301 from an individual and I read somewhere once that you could finance a backhoe at a dealer using the kubota finance, I am wondering if their is any truth to this, doesn't seem like they would let you, thanks

They would love to sell you a new backhoe and finance the deal. Something you bought on Craigslist... not so much.

Don’t see why not. Ask em. Damned things cost $9000, at least one did which is way overpriced so they ought to do something for you. If not call other dealers out of the area . Some of them are snobs while some are hungry. You won’t know till you ask .

Good idea. You won稚 find doo da to fit my Korean massy but kubbota yea theyæ±*e out there. Thereç—´ lots of folks who get them then after the big project they are tired of tripping over the thing. They do take up as much room as a small car when off the tractor.
Set up searches on Craigç—´ lisfor your local cities. Also hit Search Tempest every few days. When you see one. POUNCE and don稚 think about taking some cash. Put it off a few days and your . Expect to pay no less than $5g I would think. The kubota the size of mine 36-39 is always popping up for 7,500 is around here. There aren稚 many and they don稚 stick around long. Make sure you get one that EXACTLY fits your machine. Screwing around to make up a sub frame is a fools errand unless youæ±*e a pro welder.

That searchtempest will let you search the whole country which is handy for pricing and availability. At least you cans see whatç—´ out there and approx pricing.

You can find all of Kubota's finance deals on their website... Backhoe offers are 0% for 24, 2.99% for 36, or 3.99% for 48 or 60. Just call a dealer to verify

I just bought a BH92 from my dealer... after research, I felt that 9K with a quick attach 16" bucket that includes installation and an OEM subframe was a very good deal...

I am also considering the same purchase with mechanical thumb.

Yes, me too. For some reason I didn’t think they would finance just the hoe.

Also, I have rear remotes. Does this connect to them of does it get plumbed in some other way?

Is this 9k include everything to make it work?

Or are there extras that still need to be purchased ? ( not meaning thumbs etc). Just enough to let me make it work.

Eventually I can see adding a thumb of some sort, more buckets and maybe even a light on the dipper.

Where are u located? (Which dealer did use?). This is soooo tempting. How long did they have your machine? How old and what machine do you have ?Think you could of installed it yourself ?

Now that you have it, anything you would of changed or added?

Does this hoe work well with your machine? Post some photos. Any limitations. I realize these are not mini ex’s, but I want the capability of not using a shovel and can’t justify a mini. These seem to be really nice shovels.

Sorry for all the questions

Haven't been visiting any dealers yet to do any serious discussions. Just researching on the internet and contemplating Springtime. :)

Here is the information listed on Kubota's web-site:

BH92 Backhoe $7,659.00
Subframe Kit for Backhoe $942.00
BH92 MTG Kit $364.00

All three items pop up when you add a BH92 Backhoe to a tractor.

I don't have it yet - I'm in Tennessee... The tractor is in the shop now for the installation- -took it in Friday and should have it back tomorrow. I have a 2013 L4240. I didn't want to do it myself....no time for that. I bought the BH92 with quick attach and 16" bucket and will review it once I have some time with it. Price included everything and the dealer is also doing my 400 hour service for parts only...

Wow, that to me sounds like a great price.

Does the hoe come with a warranty? Just curious on that end. Reviews and photos.... I’m stoked to hear all about it

Did you finance it through the kubota financing, and i wonder what it would cost and if they would allow us to install it ourselves

Yes- I'm doing 36 months at 2.99% on it... no clue on the install savings. You'd just have to ask your dealer. Final OTD for me is $9500...(because I added the QA- I will want more buckets in the future)...

Ok great, good to know it can be financed through kubota, thanks

Well- BH92 made it home today...my dealer did a fantastic job. All I had time to do was unload it and park it in the barn... more reviews later...

BTW- the finance rate was better than I thought- 36 months at 2.76% :D

How do those of you with cab tractors like the backhoe? It seems like that would make it a less appealing option. For that matter 13k makes it a less appealing option. I bought my BH-90 for 4K used.
