Backhoe for JD

I am considered a 448 for my 4720. A lot of questions come to mind:

How does this thing even hook up? Can somebody show pics of the back of the tractor without the BH installed?

Pics of how to install?

Is the manual online?

How big a bucket shoudl I get?

I am debating just renting but I really hate renting stuff. Having to go get it, take it back, it breaks, run out of time, etc.

I wish I had just bought my 4720 with every accessory known to exist for it when I bought it...

Can I put a BH on my 5525 cab? I know the 448 is not compatible with a cab on the 4720, but what about the 5525?

According to Deeres web site the JD 49 BH is compatible with all 5520 series tractors?? Does not specify with or without cab.

Yeah, I saw that line. I wonder if the cab presents a problem. Also, mine is a 5525 - who knows. I am beginning to think a rental might make sense.

My understanding from the 2005 year models, which mine fits into, was that the cab version of the 5025 series was not compatible with the JD BHs which are frame mount in this series. To be sure check with the JD dealer or send an email to JD directly. It may be that an aftermarket 3pt hitch BH is compatible.
