This just in from Woods...
Patrick;
The subframe for the Woods 7500 backhoe is designed to have clearance for
installation on the Kubota L4610 with cab. The smaller backhoe can be
positioned further behind the rear tires without compromising stability of
the unit.
The subframe for Woods 9000 backhoe is designed to keep the unit as close as
possible to the rear of the tractor without cab, in order to make the unit
stable and to keep the forces on the tractor to a minimum. We have had
customers that have been very satisfied with the position of the larger 9000
backhoe, even on tractors with cab. However, we did not intend the 9000 to
mount on the L4610 with cab, and have had one customer who was unhappy with
the restrictions on seat position.
My recommendation would be to stick to the 7500 on the L4610 with cab. If
the 9 foot backhoe is a requirement, perhaps a larger tractor, such as the
M4900 would be a better choice. We can not provide a tractor warranty, even
though we make great efforts to prevent damage to tractors by providing
subframe mounts.

http://www.woodsonline.com/ is the Woods web site. If you go there click on Woods Flash and read about their debt restructuring. Poking around on their site I noted that they own Gannon and a bunch of other manufacturers. Other than that their site is truly boring, no equipment pix, specs, prices, nothing, nada, nichts, NO EYE CANDY.
