Patrick;
The subframe for the Woods 7500 backhoe is designed to have clearance for
installation on the Kubota L4610 with cab. The smaller backhoe can be
positioned further behind the rear tires without compromising stability of
the unit.

The subframe for Woods 9000 backhoe is designed to keep the unit as close as
possible to the rear of the tractor without cab, in order to make the unit
stable and to keep the forces on the tractor to a minimum. We have had
customers that have been very satisfied with the position of the larger 9000
backhoe, even on tractors with cab. However, we did not intend the 9000 to
mount on the L4610 with cab, and have had one customer who was unhappy with
the restrictions on seat position.

My recommendation would be to stick to the 7500 on the L4610 with cab. If
the 9 foot backhoe is a requirement, perhaps a larger tractor, such as the
M4900 would be a better choice. We can not provide a tractor warranty, even
though we make great efforts to prevent damage to tractors by providing
subframe mounts.

http://www.woodsonline.com/ is the Woods web site. If you go there click on Woods Flash and read about their debt restructuring. Poking around on their site I noted that they own Gannon and a bunch of other manufacturers. Other than that their site is truly boring, no equipment pix, specs, prices, nothing, nada, nichts, NO EYE CANDY.

I visited my local dealer the other day and much to my surprise, they claim the Bradco backhoes can be fit to Grand L cab tractors, and even claim to have done it several times.
The 4" spacers are used to get seat clearance, and the brackets otherwise fit.

Very interesting! I'm not totally convinced yet, but this is very encouraging. When I get a chance, I'll stop in to see the guys in the back building who actually rig the tractors and ask them to get a definitive answer rather than just relying on the sales guy.

hayden, I have a Bradco 609 backhoe mounted on my Kubota L3710 with a Curtis hard cab without the 4" extensions on the hoe. All I do is remove the rear panel and fold the tractor's seat forward and the backhoe's seat fits fine. I didn't even remove the Kubota stock toolbox.

Yes, I recall reading about that with great interest. That's my backup plan, but I really like the factory cab, and since in my dreams I don't have to worry about cost ....

I probably wasn't clear that the Bradco supposedly works with the Kubota factory cab, which doesn't have a removable rear window (or at least the offending part doesn't remove), and mounts to the tractor differently than the cab-less fenders and ROPS bar.

Bradco takes the fifth on this topic, and I know at least Patrickg has been looking for a BH solution for the HSTC models, and perhaps others.

If this works, it addresses a big issue I've been trying to work around.
