I have a Guilin backhoe that I've posted about before. The problem is the hydraulic fittings when the hoses fail. And the fact that there is very little parts available (ok, next to nothing). I was able to get 4 adapters to convert them over to American JIC37 1/2inch. But now the dealer I got them from does not even respond to email. And nobody else seems interested.
So heres what I've researched.
It would appear that the male fittings are 18mm at 1.5 pitch with a flat face and O-ring seal. Has anybody found anything to convert these other than the Chinese adapters that appear to be extremely rare? The typical internet based metric hydraulic fitting companys have nothing for this that I can tell.
I'm in the process of making my own adapters with swivel 3/8 NPT fittings on the ends which will allow for TSC and Bomgaar's type hoses to work.
I'm wondering if the current LW's backhoes have this same fitting on them. And if anyone has retrofitted theirs to take hose's that are widely available.
The backhoe itself seems to be very strong and can dig great. I have nasty clay gumbo to work in.
thx for any info..
