Backhoe met its match

Actually, the two pictures are of the same stump.
the 1st picture shows about a foot- was above ground and it didn't look like much

Really didn't think it was going to be a big deal to get it out of the ground.

The second picture shows how much was concealed a little over 7 feet was underground.


that rip rap will sure make it look nice, and keep the water a lot cleaner we're still in the clean up, and field work stage Nice work on the culvert:thumbsup:

Well between the L35 and the cat skid steer, we got it out. Neither one of them could pick it up so we used both backhoes to clean enough dirt off to lift. The Cat rocked all the way back to the side of my hill where I dropped it.

Then since the L35 was here, we've replaced the 36" diameter pipe that serves as the bridge to my house.

Wow a lot of work

You might have convinced your wife you were out working, but those of us here on TBN know you were really just playing!

Yeah....i am guilty, I wish there was another way to put that rip rap in though. That actually does seem like work.
