Backhoe backhoe problems?

   / backhoe problems? #12
I have the 2375 on my CK25 and it if it's not locked up while moving around I need to turn and raise the backhoe every once and a while. Kinda ticks me off when moving a pile.

I have about 450 hours on the tractor, and I guess half has been without the backhoe on the tractor.

I have a 2005 KB2375 on my CK30hst. Considering it's size, a strong hoe. The swing control is fast and takes some getting used to. The Woods has an adjustable flow control from what others mentioned. The stabilizers will drop down a bit, about an inch a day, if not hooked. The main boom, maybe a few inches a day. The new Kioti bh is different than mine but I haven't looked at one up close to see what they changed. Under warranty, I had to replace one of the stabilizer control valves. It was defective from day one. Other than that, no other problems. If price was close, I'd take the Woods but you should be happy with either.

Up close, the newer Kioti 2475 that replaced your 2375 seems to be
substantially improved. I have not operated either, however. Don't you
guys use the boom transport lock to keep the boom from leaking down?

MOUSE: your Woods hoe in Kubota orange looks like a close color match
to the Kioti orange.

I normally use the transport locks when I'm done for the day or if I'm moving the tractor doing loader work along with using the bh. Bumpy ground will have the bh boom bouncing. My drop times were for when I stopped for the day and forgot to use the locks. If I'm not going to use the bh for a few days, I take it off. I got it down to about five minutes for on or off. :)

for what its worth, my dealer gave me a spray can of Kioti orange, (*new color), for the *latest models and he said it is the same as the Kubota orange?!
I can't swear by it but that is what I was told....
It looks darn close to me, but I could be off base- anyone know for sure?
To tell the truth I'm surprised Kioti goes with orange to begin with - when I first drove by my dealer's I thought he WAS selling Kubotas:rolleyes:

I'm sure its marketing to confuse buyers like me to think they've come across a Kubota dealer when its going to become obvious its a Kioti before it gets purchased?!

Not trying to hijack thread- just thought I'd throw in what I was told about the orange colors:eek:

On topic of backhoes, my KIOTI 2485 on my DK 35 is a wicked strong beast, especially with a thumb added to it. I find it a little under powered at times to move side to side, but digging- forget it! It digs like a much bigger hoe....
I've also got it plumbed with a new 'kit' from Kioti that allows the return line to go directly to the reservoir instead of the 'B' rear remote valve, which makes it run faster than it would if the hydraulic lines went to 'A' and 'B' instead.

These are pics of my year old CK35HST with a Woods backhoe, model BH70-X. To me the colour is the same, tractor and backhoe. I do notice that my backhoe will settle down if I do not have the lock on to hold it in place. Unless I am actively using my backhoe I have always used the lock.

That is the first I have heard of that kit. It makes sense that you
will get less fluid resistance that way. I use the AUX valve to run my
backhoe, too, and I think that the restrictions of the AUX valve cause
more fluid heating than PB-type hoe plumbing I have used on other tractors.
I was considering plumbing in a PB loop on my CK30 for that reason. Your
approach would be easier to do and a good thing if it gives significantly
better flow resistance.

Where did Kioti's kit put the return line?

The kit puts what would otherwise connect to the rear remote marked 'B' into the reservoir directly via and adapter that moves the overflow's 'Shepard's crook' to the other side near the remotes, and allows the 'b' return line to connect into the reservoir fill location on the right, as viewed from the back of the tractor.
Does that answer your question?
If not let me know and I will detail it further....
