Backhoe backhoe removal fel not working HELP

hi, i have a ck20hst and removed the backhoe today for the first time. now with the hoses disconnected from the front the fel wont go up. is there a lever or something i'm missing? please help., chris

Question is it a Kioti or other backhoe??

its a kioti. and the hoses connect up front. they run through the frame.

Did you turn the control valve? -- If you follow the quick coupler back to where it mounts to the "main" part of the tractor there is a valve there that needs turned 90 degrees.

If it is facing outward turn it towards the back of the tractor or vice versa.

gerard, thanks so much for responding so fast. i checked and the pin was in the wrong pos. i will check tom. to see if this was it. i'm sure it was. you and everyone else is what makes this site so great. i sure hope one day i will know enough to help someone in there time of need. thanks again, chris

this is EXACTLY why i love this forum.. i've been in the same situation multiple times over the last 12 months. i know now that if i'm unsure of anything, i ask first.. THEN i drill holes..

Gerard, I've attached another view of the lever in case someone has trouble locating it. The tractor won't even run right if this lever is still in the power beyond position after disconnecting the BH. Another thing, if the tractor doesn't seem to operate right and the loader doesn't work but the lever is in the correct position, check your quick disconnects as the same reaction will happen if one comes loose.
