I have the SWAG heavy duty straight die. I will have to look at the one with the fingers too.

Yeah, that's the one I have too. The fingered version just came out in the past six months. Hard to justify replacing the original but the fingered version would be far more useful.

Ok. You talked me out of the powder coat, so I stopped and picked up some Chevy Orange and good primer on the way home from work today and here is the results. Really happy how they turned out. Can't wait to try them out.

They look nice. If I recall correctly, the pads prevented me from flipping the footpads over to reveal a flat surface when working on a hard surface. You might want to think about fabricating some filler inserts to use if you ever need to place the stabilizer pads on asphalt or other surface you don't want to damage. The commercial backhoes seem to use strips of old tires on edge and tightly bound together. A snugly fit block of wood might work too.

I just picked up the "Bigfoot" stabilizer pads the other day, and put them on this morning. Here's a few pics.

This is what you get, one to a box complete with 6 10mm bolts, 6 flat washers, 6 lock washers, and 6 self locking nuts. They don't want these to come loose.

Installed, from the bottom, they are somewhat aggressive, definitely not for use on pavement of any kind, would leave a nasty mark on asphalt.

From the backside. I used them a few hours today, and they do give much more restriction to movement, particularly on a hillside. If you're working mostly in dirt, these are pretty good.

CAN YOU POST THE DIMENSIONS OF THOSE PADS. HOW THICK IS THE PLATE

Would like to purchase a set for my tractor backhoe. I have not been able to locate them on the internet yet .many bigfoot sites but not the one for metal stabilizer pads. Can you help ?

Just get some 2-2 1/2" x5/16" or 3/8" thickness angle iron and cut them to length. Drill a few holes... and... WALA! Stabilizer feet! A lot cheaper too!

Don't get me wrong, the BF feet are seriously heavy duty, but they seem expensive....
