Does anyone know who, where, and how much I can get a backhoe thumb for my B2400? I read on one of the recent posts someone buying a thumb for a Woods BH. Do they sell one for a bota BH and if so, anyone know how much. Just want to lift 1 or 2 man stones with it. Anyone ever use one?

Make sure you try a couple of rocks with a chain before going through this effort. Lift capacity is very limited with any kind of reach. I've found the front forks to be far better for capacity and versatility than the hoe. Maybe your hydraulic pressure is different than mine or your rocks are lighter. SteveV

Lifting a rock with a chain is always a risk. Espcially when you get big rocks like 2 man or larger. A thumb is very useful and very fast. It allows you to do a lot with a rock rather than getting out or waiting for someone to deal with the chain. Here's a pic. of my boss's backhoe.

I think I've seen a L35 with a thumb before. But I can't remember.
