Anyone have any recommendation on front backhoe tires? Just bought a John Deere 310 SE. It has a Firestone Industrial Special Harvester on driver's side and a Goodyear Laborer 11L-16SL on passenger. The Goodyear has chunks of tread missing and is showing the plies. It made the 8 miles trip home to my place, but I don't trust it. Previous owner said it's held up better than the Firestone.

Any recommendations?

I bought a 1970 Ford TLB in 1986, and sold it in 2019 --33 years.
Left front tire had a deep cut to tread when I bought it, tire was still fine 33 years later.
If you are using the machine for hire, I would certainly buy 2 new tires.
If the machine is for your own use, I would just use as is, and watch for a good price on 2 new tires.

It will be roaded couple times a year between properties.

The Maxdura F3 looks good - I suppose the 10 ply would be fine. I searched ebay a bit more and found 2 new Carlisle Industrial F-3 11L-16SL tires. These are a 12 ply tire. They were $99.99/tire. Looked at the seller and it was a discount merchandise store about 46 miles from where I work. I contacted the seller about local pick-up and they changed the listing to local pick-up only for me. I bought both tires for less than I would've bought one Goodyear Laborer (walmart.com).

Pretty excited about that find!

Gotta love some of the deals you can find on eBay. Practically everything I own is sporting tires bought off there.

I've replaced mine twice. I just go to the tire shop that does tractor tires and buy what they have. I don't remember having any choices, but I guess if you are willing to wait, and the cost isn't an issue.
