can't answer your question but with Montana buying the Farmtrac plant/etc they made their own backhoe/FEL/other equip. Maybe something Montana will be be switching to mayhaps. I'm not associated with either but being a Farmtrac owner just speculating on what Montana is thinking.

To my knowledge all factory Montana hoes are Amerequip. Now, if purchased via Montana it should be green but say purchased via a company that is a distributor like Rankin it would be black.

I think Amerequip manufacturers a great product. Yes, they also manufacture the Montana curved boom loader. I am not a fan of 3 point mounts (I like sub-frame amerequip) but if you do go 3 point I would suggest a Wallensten GX720 3 point with the turn buckle as you can get them in green, affordably and the turn buckle really helps on the 3 point.

Hope this helps,
Maka

is a ameriquip sub frame availabe to fit my 2840? or in fact does any other manufacturer make one. if so why not? hey have you gotten that part # for the mitsubishi block heater, i have yet to need it though it starts right up everytime. the only issue i have is the ability to curl the bucket up when it's cold i have to wait or put some heat to the spool to make it work any ideas i have dried it out i think and sprayed a water displacing fluid around it but still it freezes up (tractor is kept indside a unheated portable shelter) been thinking about drying it out and packing grease around the spool think this will help?

There should be a sub frame for the 2840 from Amerequip through your Montana dealer. I know the 2840 and 2844 are same and they have one listed for the 2844/3644 so I think you should be good to go.

On the bucket curl did you remove the two covers on the bottom of the loder joystick valve? I think if you do that one of t hem will have some water in it. Dump it out and pack it with grease. If you want you can check to see if there is a little hole in the bottom of the cover and if not drill one (very small) so any water that somehoew gets in can drain. Thgis should take care of it. I believe what is happening is the water in there is freezing and not allowing the curl position to move until you let it warm up or heat the area.

I will send the block heater in shortly.

Thanks,
Maka
