backorder experience?

i ordered a DK55c on June 15th - the dealer had the BH, and the FEL in stock, but had to order the tractor. the BH frame mount and the 18" bucket are back-ordered..

anyone else waiting on tractors or implements?

it appears that Kioti moved to the new facility right after i ordered the tractor - dealer said that the tractor was enroute, but didn't have alot of info on the items that are back-ordered.

while i don't want to hassle my dealer every few days, the wait is excruciating!!

i am having same problem with a lk3054xs. i order mine 2 months ago. there has been several problems from new computer system, new warehouse ,no tires and now the front loader is backordered. they are also having problems with trucking from what i here. i was told middle of this month in 3 weeks ago so i would say next week. think they held up getting new stuff in until after move and now they cant get it ship in because of gas prices. at least that is what i was told indirectly. have called several people at kioti but got no answer. at first i though my dealer was lying to me but it is a problem at kioti that is getting fixed. hang in their and good luck.

Be patient. It's going to be a waiting game as Kioti is trying to catch up on the influx of orders. I waited 9 weeks for my BH and am totally satisfied despite the delay. G

Trucking right now is a nightmare, and not only with Kioti. Talked to a guy at a Kubota warehouse said he has plenty of trucks all loaded and ready to ship but no drivers...... /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Kiotis whole goods dept. in NC has moved to the new building, the parts dept and the rest of the office has been moving yesterday and today. Things are pretty crazy at Kioti right now with the move and all but just hang in there; the changes will only lead to better support, product availability.

Well, now I'm worried... I ordered a LK3054XS last week, and the dealer said that he had an order coming and it would be about two weeks before he got it. I checked back with him to see if we could firm up a delivery date for next week, and he said that at this point, he doesn't know what day the load will be in. His explanation to me was that the tractors were ready, but Kioti is having trouble with the shipping company getting all the tractors out. Apparently, the tractors are shipped by various freight companies.

And yes, I was wanting to wait until I actually had the tractor before sharing my joy, but sounds like we might be in the same boat here.

well, i guess there is comfort is knowing that i'm not alone!

i've been waiting 20 years for this machine, so i'm not going to be overly anxious.

however, there is a limit to my patience. because i financed this machine through Kioti credit, the clock starts the day i signed the paper work. if that first payment comes and i don't have the tractor, i'll be slightly annoyed.

but let's look on the bright side:

it says something if the demand for Kioti is this high!

I would not pay one red cent (wonder where that cliche came from?) to ANYONE for a TRACTOR I haven't taken possession of.

This 'distribution problem' should NOT be the consumer's problem. Apparently, KIOTI (and others) thinks it should be.

Slightly annoyed? Tear this prescedent down, and let them know payments will be forth coming when the complete bill of goods has been delivered, checked out and signed off on.

Agreed... you should not have to make a payment till you get the tractor. We do this with our customers who finance... they don't make a payment till they receive the goods.

i think that the dealer - and kioti - will do the right thing here.. i don't think they're going to move forward with the financing until i take owernership.

i'll keep everyone informed..

I bought and received my CK20HST in January. I waited until April to receive my Backhoe, and Agricredit held the payment of the backhoe until I received it, although I still made my regular payments in the meantime. Of course, I already had the tractor, loader and boxblade. I wouldn't worry about the finance payment, they will make an adjustment to your pay date I'm sure. Just stay on top of it. All the companies are having similar problems from all I've read lately, and Kioti's are intensified by the big move and order problems with Titan Tires. John
