R I P Jim always enjoyed your day to day activities.
Jim, or Crash325, wrote in a way that made me want to hear what he had to say. I can’t explain why that was, but his stories are why I joined this forum. I miss his posts about his day to day life, as well as his past, and regret that I did nothing to make his life better.

No need for regrets. I reached out to him several times to send money, buy groceries, or whatever he needed. And each time he would politely refuse and say thanks anyway. The last thing I saw was his sister's post that he fell asleep smoking, which led to the fire. Crash and I had our differences politically, but he was a one of a kind character, that's for sure.
What I know as well... I assumed a cigarette.I believe she said he died of smoke inhalation but not how the fire actually started. Back when we learned about it there was concern that maybe some of his crappy neighbors may have set the fire. Unless you know of another post not in this thread with more details.
