yes mine and others. We are walkers ( my wife and I ) and this punk likes to stop and yell at people mainly seniors and women from his car and threaten them. Not a nice guy nor a nice family. When I walk alone he just glares and keeps driving.
Wow, what a douche. Theres a lot to consider when we move into a new neighborhood. One of the biggest overlooked things is WHO are new neighbors will be and how do they live/interact.
When I first moved in my “hood” 12 years ago, we had some trouble like you are having.
1. Kids parking in full de sac drinking & fornicating. Accompanied with the aftermath of prophylactics and empty beer/weed items left behind: I took care of that with some very hostile & uncomfortable confrontations in the middle of the night with baseball bat in hand. After about the 4th one, the repeat offenders found another persons property somewhere else in which to engage in their activities.
2. Dog walkers on my lawns: This one was a bit easier. I have 2 very well meaning dog-owning neighbors that short-cut with their 4 legged friends though my lawn to get to their homes. Less confrontational. Just walked out to them and told them I’d appreciate it if they’d take “Sumo” and “Willie” somewhere else to drop their 2 pound piles of wonderful aromas instead of my back yard where my kids play. No real objections. Done and over with.
3. Crazy jacked up truck/wild teenage boy: This one was tough as the trips down our road by him were random and so fast, you couldnt see him. He nearly ran over my daughter (8 y.o. at the time). My next door neighbors driveway is at the end of our cup de sac. He would fly past my house and down my neighbors driveway. My neighbors driveway actually connects to yet another private road on which this dumpy little punk lived. Neighbor and I installed a gate at both ends of his driveways and that was the end of him. he paid me to do it. We both benefitted.
4. Crazy renter attack: This one was partially my fault. My daughter (now grown up) did not understand “polite driving distance from other cars”. IOW, she tailgated a gentleman renting a small cottage on my neighbors property down our road. He was very irritated. Later that evening, the renter hid in my bushes and ambushed me at the end of my driveway on my nightly trip to put my outgoing mail in my mailbox. Upon his first volley at me, I grabbed him by his neck. My wife had it all on cell phone video and I asked him if he’d like to be hurt very badly or go to jail reminding him that he was trespassing on my property and took the first swing. He relaxed and walked away. He since moved out. I had a stern talking to with my daughter.
16 year old drivers are a nightmare.….
Otherwise its been a wonderful experience living in my neighborhood
