Bad mouthing a Kioti?

........ many like me who could have paid cash for any machine, were just simply discouraged from buying them due to ..........

Exactly. JD makes great tractors. Apple makes great phones. Goodyear makes great tires. I won't buy any of them because they think their name is worth a lot more than I do.

As already pointed out, there are a number of dealers in your area. Two within 50 miles, and two more within 60 miles...give or take. I'm sure everyone's standards are different, but that's hardly "no dealers" to most of us. I'd have to drive over 30 miles to get to the nearest Deere dealer....what's another 15 minutes at that point?
I bought my first Kioti from the turf team, I also have an ex ark zero turn from them (and still get parts from them). I got a completely different answer from them about the change from Kioti to kubota. The local kubota dealer moved 20 plus miles and 2 towns east. Kubota " made them an offer they couldn't refuse". Didn't matter to me, I bought my next Kioti 45 miles east of me near the illinois/Indiana border.

Guys I am done with this thread.
I never said they were bad machines I think I said slow but sure. My issue was and is here there are no dealers and my neighbor wishes he had got something else now.
I think the guys that have to end the talk in attacks just wish they had something else.

My first post was this.
"My next door neighbor bought a Kioti in 2007 or 08, Now he is stuck with it. Slow but sure unit, but even the Bob Cat knock off of the same unit with white skin has no parts out there. All of the dealers in this area are gone.... You get what you pay for. Parts mean life. No parts no good. JMHO.
Why CAT and JD always bring the big bucks is because they will have parts 20 years out."

And to "quote" the guy who used to sell them and now sells Kabota when I asked him why. "They were to hard to get parts for and when we did get the parts it took way to long for delivery." He is the owner of Truff Team in Morris IL.
So again it is what it is.

Have a great holiday!

First you say you are done, then you go on a rant.....
AND, you seemed (to me) to have nothing but disdain for Kioti, and Bobcat along with it.
Both great machines.
Then you cannot even spell Kubota, not that I am the spelling police, but dang!

For me its much more than the cost of the name.

I hear ya.My new 2011 John Deere X740 with 40 hours on the meter needed 1 bolt for my 3pt hitch that failed.Heck it was in the JD shop for 3 weeks waiting on the bolt.My kioti 2012 DK40 has not needed any parts yet.I see what you mean now, laffin.

Ya funny. I used to own a jd. Nice unit, but i did have to replace the front axle gears ($3,000). But had it for 14 years. When i went back to my dealer to look at a cab tractor, i couldnt even get a salesman to talk to me. They asked if i was ready to make a deal today and i told them im looking. They lost interest.

Mind you, i had cash.

The kioti dealer i went to bent over backwards going over the unit and letting me test drive it. He also delivered it free of charge.

Ive had it 4 years, and when i call to order filters, etc, its the owner of the place that talks to me. They have been a kioti dealer for many years.

Parts easy to get. They will also mail any parts i need.

Its all in dealer response for me. I Order filters, etc thru them. I support my dealer network.

As part of my day to day business i sell, install and service Generac generators. When people see my add and call for parts, i sell them for my cost plus shipping. I dont gouge them. Thes gets me alot of good advertising mouth to mouth and gets me alot of service work also. I really hated it when i would go get parts for my old tractor and have the prices 2x higher than online, but i figured i was supporting the dealership. When it came diwn to them helping me with an expensive decision...they didnt recripricate the support. Ive never been back there.... Even though they also sell stihl and huski equipment. I actually went to a dealership 30 miles away to purchase a stihl pole saw cause i refuse to step foot in local jd store ever again. Bad sales experience lasts a lifetime.

I treat all my customers with resoect. Its kept me self employeed and suscessful for over 30 years

FWIW, Kioti poured in a pile of money for warehousing parts space, maintaining higher levels of inventory, and distribution.

In other words, almost two years ago Kioti worked to increase their parts availability by adding an additional warehouse. As a guy who has purchased more Kioti parts than most (see the My NX6010 for the details), I can share that I've personally had zero problems getting parts in a timely fashion, and I'm a guy who stands in front of the microwave telling it to hurry up!

Same here grsthegreat,I feel very fortunate my local Kioti dealer is Michigan Iron & Equipment. They have been nothing but outstanding to do business with. When you do good by your customers it comes back around for the good IMHO.My neighbor needed a new ZTR mower so we hopped in my truck with trailer and you guessed it bought it from Michigan Iron.

I spent two years doing the choosing. I bought a KIoti 2510 w loader. I like it totally in all respects for my application (landscaping, snow blowing root removal, grading, helping the neighbours). I would by no other kind, now, my dealer is a tad crusty because I am an ornery SOB to get a sale out of, so he is entitled. Besides, his wife is a wonderful woman to deal with.I have not been able to find even ONE THING To complain about with the tractor. It is tough, handy comfortable rig with reasonable power (It is 27.5 HP gross,, 24 PTO MM or rear. with a 54 inch nORmand front blower. it will easily handle 24" deep heavy snow, even the highway berms after an overnight freeze. heated cab, and power steering. Starts willingly in any weather, easy on fuel, lots of traction with turf tires weighted with beet juice. It is a lifetime keeper! I had a Kubota 21 hp, crash gears amstrong steering, meteor 4 foot rear blower, custom steel cab. t did the job, but it was slow and difficult tgo operate. My wife can drive the kioti, but not the Kubota. (gears and clutch)

So, yeah Kioti is the one for me, all day long!

Maybe if Kubota offered their tractors with heated cab, power steering, turf tires and loaded you would be on the fence.

Glad it has worked for you. Kioti tractors are very well respected and appreciated.
