Bad News About JDPARTS.COM

I think the only thing that Deere ships "direct" is manuals. Never had a problem with the old JDParts - knock on wood but so far I've always been successful with both part searches and pricing. Hope they don't lose functionality. The only other site I've dealt with that had anything like that type of on-line drawings and parts ordering was Sears for old power tools, and the JD site has that one beat hollow.

yup, When I had my deere the dealers prices where HIGHER then JDPARTS. So I complained to JD and JD helped me out. In the end, that specific dealer had zero clue and the JD rep said the same thing. So that dealer was stopped from JDparts! Thank god.

I waited until today to e-mail you back because I wanted to talk to Scott, the Manager of Lomac's. I had only talked with the Parts Manager yesterday. Unfortunately, I did not get any better reaction than you did. You are correct. They are clueless and you will be happy to note that we agreed
mutually that they should be removed from the JDParts program.

My closest JD dealer sucks for parts.

1. If I order on JDParts, they get the e-mail, but do nothing.

2. When I call, I have to read the part numbers to them - its easier for them to just re-write the order than to find the e-mail from JDParts.

3. The invariably get it wrong and order the wrong parts.

4. When the parts od arrive, they don;t bother to call to say so.

5. Whan I don;t remember to call them, they send the parts back to JD after about 2 weeks.

6. When I want to re-order again, they want advance payment because I have a history of orderiung and not picking sutff up (I would if they would just call!)
