I've got about 720 hours on my '08 110TLB, now. There's been a hydraulic pump noise since the tractor was new. I figured it would go away with time (break-in) or new filters and/or hyd oil change-out.
Wrong..
Last night, I was parking the tractor in the garage and with crowded quarters, I locked the FEL in the upright position with the loader cylinder block. With the engine running, I stepped out on the front tire to pull the pin and set the block into position on the hyd cylinder. Standing on the tire, I could feel it jerk and shake occasionally every time the pump would chirp.
My local dealer has been giving me the run around about checking it out - telling me it's "normal". I don't agree - especially since it's getting progressively worse. I can now feel the "pulse" or jerk in the steering wheel whenever the pump makes that chirping noise.
Anybody else have this problem with their tractor? Oh yah, my extended warranty is up in April..
Thanks.
