I put my 4' BH on my tractor the other day to use it. Since getting my tractor used I have only used it once (use a FM most of the time). I remember a little shaking but I was cutting crap. But last weekend it seemed to shake a whole bunch. Checked it out and the stump jumper seemes to be bent. My son and I took it all apart and decided to check the blades. Used a simple piece of PVC with a hole in the middle, a bungy cord in the center hole and the bungy hanging from the garage door. Hanging the 2 blades it was off a bit but not enough to tip the scales all the way, one side just 2-3 inches lower. We switched sides to double check the scale. I ended up taking only about 1/4" off one blade but what a difference. You could barely tell it was spinning. Sweet! So a little does make a big difference.

You may be getting 250 G's or more when spinning up those long blades. Say the imbalance was only .5oz. That could get you 7lbs of wobble!
