I need to add some weight to the rear of the CK25, approx. how much weight do I need ? will be doing loader work.

At least 500 lbs on the 3ph for really good performance. But, then it depends on what you are loading in the FEL. Mulch is one thing. Stone is another.

Tina, I'd check your owners manual for the loader, it should tell you what the required ballast weight should be. But 500# seems too light by 25% to 30% based on my own tractors, I would bet the recommended weight would be at least 650# to 700# of ballast.

Do us all a favor an check your owners manuals for the recommended ballast and let us know what the recommended weight should be for your tractor/loader.

Thanks gentlemen, according to the homepage it should be 700 lbs, I also checked the manuel but it didn't say much other than to add ballast to the rear in the form of wheel weights or fill the tires.
