Ballast: Calcium Chloride VS H2O&Antifreeze

   / Ballast: Calcium Chloride VS H2O&Antifreeze #11
Every Dealer is different, but at our Store we do not recommend using Calcium due to the decreased Tire performance (Tires filled w/Calcium are pretty much rigid).

I would highly recommend using Cast Weights-you can take them off when you don't need them(lessening the load on the Drivetrain), put them on when yoyu do and be able to ballast the Machine to the intended usage.

Ever seen a Calcium filled Tire with a flat? Tire repair guys really won't like you much-

Have you seen a wheel where the Calcium has eaten through? Kinda expensive and unnecessary

Don't forget the beet juice (Rimguard) option for loading tires. Much better than CaCl with regard to equipment and environment. Heavier than antifreeze. Moderate increased cost over the others.
