( I checked out Toreku and found them to be a good dealer - no bells and whistles but quite helpfull. They know their competing with the NH dealers so they were competative on price too. I'm looking at the BX23 and also live in NH. What did you pay for the BX23? )

I sent you a PM ... I don't think the moderators want prices to be displayed on the public forum. But you gotta talk to Denise or Lisa Shaw ... nice people.

Maybe I should have clarified that in as much as I hurt your feelings. Ford owns a marketshare in Cummins Engine Group. The American engine division. That came right from my brother-in-law, who is a design engineer at Ford SVO in Dearborn. He just happens to drive on of the Cummins/Ford F350's.

My personal feelings for Diamler Chrysler products will not be addressed here.

No hurt feelings, just that myth has been around for years. Ford is a decent truck, but they should have went with International's 466 DT in the fords instead of the a V8. Diesels should ALWAYS be an inline engine in the trucks. And I gotta say, my Dodge is the best vehicle I have ever owned.

Everybody has their opinion ... but if Dodge does not make a 5500 20K+ GVW by 2006/7 I'll be going with a F550.

But I can't wait to rev up that new 23 hp inline diesel this weekend. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

One thing about an inline 6. You have more mains than a V8. As far as the Powerstroke or any of the IH V8's. I have never heard of anyone rolling in a set of bearings. The DT 466 is way to heavy for a pickup. Maybe a 550 or 750 but not a 350. I'd like to see a 3126 Cat myself.

I have 323 horses at the rear wheels on my 350. That's on our Superflow Dyno. Thankyou Gale Banks. I run an E-4o.d. Not the stocker, but a JET reworked unit with an RV converter. The diff's are locked by ARB in front and rear. I also acquired a B&M protype valve body courtesy of Ford SVO.

This isn't a truck thread so I'll leave it at that.
