Hi John,

/w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif/w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif
I myself really don't consider windshield washer fluid deadly...unless you stuck your head in the drum and couldn't get out.../w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif... and even toxic would be pushing it... and of course the antifreeze is a no brainer, unless you have more money than brains @ $4. gallon...

And to tell you the truth... I don't know how we got here from Barbed wire.../w3tcompact/icons/blush.gif

See if I lived in the south, I'd use plain old natural water with some "rust proofing"... and not worry about all this nuttiness... /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

John,
I've got to agree with you about the washer fluid. Anti-freeze is designed to be used in a sealed system. Granted, if a hose breaks or leak develops, a spill occurs, but in it's designed use, it isn't exposed to the environment. Washer fluid is completely different. Every time it is used for it's intended purpose, it is exposed to the environment. Whatever chemical components it has that don't immediately evaporate simply solidifies on your vehicle until the next good rainstorm when it gets washed off onto the ground. I doubt that it would be very toxic or the EPA would have jumped all over it a long time ago.

Thanks Bird. The explanation helped clear up some other questions I didn't even have to post! BTW, really like the signature.
