OK, I'm tired of you all posting about your great deals that you got. A DeWalt planer at half price, attachments on sale at TSC, or a truck 13k off list. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif Well, I finally got one. It felt kinda good being the first guy calling about something and the other people waiting on my decision of whether or not I wanted it.

I found me a cement mixer for $50. As you can see from the picture it isn't pretty, but it is good and solid - and it works. Needs a little bit of TLC to remove some of the cement that has accumulated through the years where it wasn't cleaned properly. Will probably also replace the cord on it, has run that way for years, but I'll probably put something a little more moisture resistant on it as around cement you usually have water. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Here is a shot of the other side. You can see the motor. You can also see the bent "tongue." I'll figure out something to do about that and rig up a way so that I can move it with the tractor as it is pretty heavy and doesn't like to move real well.

Looking in side you can see where someone had left some cement dry on the inside, but not terrible. I'll probably work and clean this out at some point, but I wouldn't be afraid to start using tomorrow on a pour.

It isn't dirty. It's experienced.

Just in case the bearing on the drum is bad. Don't get in a panic. Chances are, most likely, odds be, they're the same ones used in your trailer or the front of a vehicle, ie, wheelbearings. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

You did good. And if you want to gas motor da mixer keep in mind you need one with a gear reduction box.

I picked up a worksaver post hole digger last weekend for $65, does that count too?

Sounds like it to me, but what is it? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif Is that one of the augers with a motor that 1 or 2 guys can run?
