My service does not have a Main Breaker. I think the device looks very promising, and I think I will contact Duke about whether I can have one, after I study it a bit more. I appreciate the OP mentioning it to us.

Probably not cheap, but here is another option for a while house transfer switch.
This on has the option for a UPS to be interconnected to the system.
