I assume they ship. What is the cost of a CUT trucked from KY to PA? Anyone?

I was told that shipping, on a B, from KY to NY, would be roughly $500.-600.00.

With today's fuel prices, it looks close to a wash- not including motels!:D
I used to advise property sellers to not negotiate with themselves, Don't start cutting their price until the buyer makes a offer. I've seen sellers keep talking and keep cuming down on their price and the buyer maybe never say a word. That's sort of what this made me think of while reading this. Wonder the price, oh it's high well if it's high then no reason to try it, or check it for sure.:)
Barlows or any company will have to be paid for costs to ship. If any company drives 500 miles to deliver one tractor then the shipping cost will have to be charged to that one tractor. If two tractors shipped then cost devided between two tractors and three the same divided by three soooooooo $600 divided by three can become $200. My understanding is Barlows deliver tractors all over and alot of them. Past threads have indicated that by waiting a few weeks the shipping cost can be devided out between several tractors thus saving several dollars on shipping costs.

Visited Barlows today. Marvin was loading up two Kubotas and on his way to CT.

When you walk in the front door it must be similar to when Norm walked into Cheers. "NORM"!

Mostly GRINS.:) Hadn't been in to visit in a few months and had a few minutes to spare as I drove by on my way home. Was checking to see if my neighbor had been in yet to order a F3080 after letting him drive mine a couple of days ago. Did get some prices while I was there when Steve Barlow arrived. Gary (parts manager) did give me a bit of a hard time when I asked for some prices since I told him I was there to visit and not shopping.:D

Bought mine from Barlow's and would again. Delivery was perfect. I hope they don't sell Ferris mowers because I didn't bother to check before I ordered one online!

Given my experience with CT dealers and their prices and attitudes it's absolutely no surprise to me.

I bought from Barlows and did a trade in at the same time. It was one of the easiest experiences I've ever had. I live 400 miles away and would buy from him again without question. He makes it simple and easy, and his prices are spectacular.
