Barn Door Question

   / Barn Door Question #11
With sliders extending out beyond barn there may be an issue with wind as well as concern with hitting them. To avoid hitting them as Mark indicated you could use ballards or plant something behind them or store equipment behind them.

   / Barn Door Question #12
Sliding doors can be locked by the cam style locks.

One issue I have with sliding doors is keeping birds and other critters out as the tracks and doors do not seal as well as overhead doors.

The other issue I have here (central ohio) is that the sliding doors freeze to the ground and drag when the ground heaves due to frost. Nothing like spending 15 minutes to force a door open with a pry-bar to get you're tractor out to clear snow in zero degree weather.
