Here's my pole barn. 32 x 48 with 12' eves, front door is 11' x 16'. No heat, no cement floor...yet.
Putting a borrowed digital camera to work!

Jim,
You call that a pole barn?? /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gifand a grand looking barn I might add.
Heck looks more like a nice cozy home. /w3tcompact/icons/blush.gif
In our neck of the woods a pole barn consider trees cut down and debark for the frame and rough cut boards for siding. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Have you thought of putting those solar panels to use for heat in your barn?

Kinda like how you teased with the snow also. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

Have fun and keep sending pictures. /w3tcompact/icons/cool.gif

Thomas,

Barn is a pole barn, 6x6's about 8' apart, 2x4 stringers going around horizontally, wrapped in OSB board and vinyl sided.

What do you mean teased about the snow, we had 8" but around here it settles and compacts. Supposed to be above 32 today with a mist, into the 40's this next week.

The solar panels are to help heat the pool. Michigan is way too cloudy in winter months to even think about heating anything...as far as I know.

That looks like a lot of barn for a TC18./w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif Now you need to trade up to a bigger tractor; maybe orange this time.

Bird,

The TC18 is really much bigger than people think! That's why I needed an 11x16' overhead door! /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif/w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

I thought maybe that big door was to be able to put the tractor and a trailer in there without taking the tractor off the trailer./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Bird,

I don't have a trailer that will hold the tractor, that way I can't take it anywhere to help someone else! /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

The big door was to get the travel trailer in and out, it was in for one winter, then we sold it this past summer.
Oh well, you can't ever have too big of a door! The view is the east side, the south end has an offset 9'x7' overhead door. Both doors are insulated in case I ever do want to add heat in the future, but then I'd have to insulate the rest of the barn too!

I thought it was nice color coordination how even your solar cover is blue!! (Wouldn't want it clash!!)
