Barn project (with Tractor)

I am friggin jealous. Great job. More pics if possible. It'll inspire the rest of us to get off our arsses and build our dreams. I'm building a welding/painting studio this summer. I also need a place for my Mahindra. Your pics will serve as inspiration. Your attachments look like they lead a charmed life. Great idea to make them mobile. How did you lift the trusses into place?
Is that a box scraper on your JD? Can you explain exactly what that's used for. I think I need one.

I'll post more pictures in the summer - I've got some more work to do inside. The trusses were lifted with a small crane - not a big deal. (my framer did that - not me)

I use my box blade a bunch - #2 implement after the FEL. It is great for levelling the driveway (brake ripples, pot holes etc.) and for grading stuff on the property (filling in holes, cutting swales for drainage etc.) My neighbors are really happy with the improvement on the road. The box blade takes some "adjustment" to get it to cut the right amount of material and level everything off. Trial and error. A hydraulic top link would really speed that process up.

I have been looking at building a pole barn for quite some time and one of the elusive projects were building trusses. Were the plans for the trusses included in the packkage you received from barnplans.com or from another source? I cannot seem to locate a good source for truss plans like you built. Or maybe I am looking in the wrong places. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
