Barn trim

Looking at putting up my first all metal barn. The sheeting seems straight forward but are there any good site on how to do the trim pieces. I can get the basic idea from pics but want to make sure I'm doing them correctly, specifically the roof edges, window/door trim, basically the places that could cause a leak some day.

Not aware of any sites for install except maybe youtube. There are only about 5-7 types of trim that im aware of. Most are easy to install; just keep in mind which way the water will flow. Overlap them properly and caulk as needed and you should be alright.

You might find something here. They're the manufacturing part of Menards and I've found a good instruction pamphlet on pole barns that included some info on steel. They also have a bunch of videos, not sure how much detail they go into.

If you are near a Menards, get the booklet "Helpful Hints for Constructing POST FRAME BUILDINGS" It free and shows how to trim everything from outside corners to inside corners, sliding doors, rolllup doors. windows, roofs etc.

Menards also has a "design your own trim" program. You draw it they bend it sold in stock widths and priced by the number of bends per ft.
