She competes all summer I think nearly every weekend. South Central Nebraska but travels to Iowa and Kansas as well. It is fun and me and my wife try and go watch her when we can. She is 15 but was 14 when the season started thus why she is in that class. BTW she is a sister in law to me.

I rode mechanical horses, ie dirt and street bikes at that age racing motocross, enduros and such. Kind of the same dedication if you want to be good at it.

When I was stationed in Omaha we got season ticket to the Royal's AAA minor league team that played in Rosenblatt stadium so we got tickets to the College World Series each year. One year this guy from Nebraska was putting down a fan up from South Carolina with their baseball team that year. After about 5 innings I was tired of hearing the guy from Nebraska say how much better Nebraska was than anywhere else and I knew the South Carolina fan was also, so I asked him if he knew what was the best thing ever to come out of Nebraska? While he was thinking about his answer, I told him it was Interstate 80 because you could leave the state in both directions. Not only did the guy from South Carolina get a big laugh out of it but so did many of the people around him. Actually, I did like many things about Nebraska and the Air Force must have thought I loved it because every time I Left, they would station me back there.

Yes my wife rode horses, now she rides motorcycles (only have to feed them when you want to ride them ) And yes I am from Nebraska, that said Omaha is not really Nebraska IMO and I hate the Huskers. I don't live in Nebraska anymore but still have family there and I travel there quite often to see them and work on some other projects I am involved in.

Great videos. Where was the commentary on the second one? How big is your wheat farm? My grandfather was a farmer in Tennessee but a small farm compared to that. My father, who was the oldest, didn't take over and they sold the farm when granddad died. Who is taking over for your dad to keep it going?

I need to make a commentary on part 2 yet. Subscribe to me and you can be the first to see it. We grow Corn, Milo, and Wheat, sometimes Soybeans as well. Farm size, you know better than to ask that :laughing: a couple thousand acres is all just a small family farm.

Decorating for Halloween. We always did it, since Corn harvest is in the fall. Wheat runs around Independence day so we run American Flags on everything. It is festive! Other farmers in the area do it too. Some will hang a plastic pumpkin out on the auger ect...
