Question: If the thing is wired to the lights, doesn't the current go through a relay from the ignition switch? if so, the current theoretically could be too much for the relay, if you put a huge light bar to replace on incandescent light, but even then not likely, no? The ignition switch doesn't carry the entire load of all the lights, does it? I have always assumed there was a relay. It would seem to take a lot of LEDs to add significant wattage to the system.

Most lights require a relay because the switch
would not last very long they are not made to
handle very many amps. With the relay installed
you can use cheap switches
