Nice project you have here, and an amazing piece of land. Good start on your vacation home, it must be a great camp spot for now!!!! I don't think the neighbors will mind any late night music!!

Saltman,

Looks like you are getting pretty good at buildig small buildings. You could soon build a summer kitchen, then perhaps a bunk house etc. etc. Actually could end up that you never do end up building the "house" :)

If it were just me then maybe I would stick to the non permitted small buildings, but I just spent 3,500.00 on plans and submit them to the county next weeks... so there will be a new house in my future!

Here is an Update on my bathroom building. I started this project last spring and used my new PTO Mixer and JD 990 to pour the slab.

My plan was to use this building as a shed/ storage for the summer and when the weatherd cooled and I was no longer able to take solar showers outside then to finish the inside of the bathroom building.

My land is an hour from my current house, so when I build on my land it will be nice to have a place to shower after working on the house, on those nights I decide to stay out there. (I already have a small cabin)

I used all copper 3/4 for the supply and cold water and 1/2 for the hot. I put in a instant propane water heater that workks great. I painted the concrete with an epoxy paint around the shower and plan on putting a tile in the remaining bathroom.

It doesn't show in the photos but I insulated the pipes and finished the bldg insulation after the plumbing photos. The hole in the ground is for my 1,000 gallon septic tank.

I still need to install the toilet, septic, finish the interior trim, put in the tile, bldg a pony wall for the shower, and shorten the Hot water flume.
