When i lived in lubbock texas back in the 1980’s, every officer drove their car home. Their wife could use it to go shopping. Theory was the more cop cars on the street the better. This from a state that had blue laws that kept me from buying bed linens on a sunday. Go figure.

From a practicality standpoint, a cop bringing a patrol car home means he could be dispatched quickly if needed. Seems to be common-sense. However, in today’s cop-hating atmosphere in most of the media, one has to wonder if the faculty lounge types won’t be looking closely at it as a “tax law violation” of some kind. Another way to put cops in bad publicity.

Well it looks like it's going to be global cooling instead of global warming.

I remember teachers in school showing this video and scaring the bejeebers out of us that we were all going to freeze to death. Our parents had to calm us all down.
40 years later and now were all going to burn to death. The good thing is now even my kids know it’s BS and I don’t have to calm them down.
Still can’t stop the over reacting and the constant scare tactics from big tech and big ed.

EV's are here, no matter the consequences; climate change will make that happen. Like it or not. I personally will need a long range truck, but wifey will get an F150 Lightening in two to three years.

If there is a good reason for EVs, this would be it.... to get rid of ethanol.

The corn state politicians would probably then lobby to mandate ethanol plants generating electricity. No offense to those of you in corn states.
