I also own the GM Bolt (2021) and 25,000 miles later has been a great car. Nice thing is you can buy one and if you have a tax obligation end up paying about $16K for the lower trim model (1LT).
It's a great car for local driving. Would not want to drive cross country with it as the range (~200 miles) isn't great.
There are income limits for the free tax $$

I underlined "if you have a tax obligation".
No...what many people don't understand is to get tax credits you owe taxes equal to or greater than credit received, HOWEVER, the AGI limit is: Single and married filing separately: $150,000. Head of household: $225,000. Married filing jointly: $300,000.

I don't think there should be an income limit. If you are successful and built your wealth why should you be penalized?

I agree. We actually don’t qualify for basically any tax credit. We also have very few deductions, because we don’t pay interest. We do have a lot of charitable contributions to deduct, but that is it. We get hammered on taxes.
