As we phase out autos that burn fossil in the coming decades refining gas demands will naturally decline.

Bingo! As the cost to mine and process hydrocarbons continue to climb we need to use them more where they add the most financial value for the common woman and her family.It may decline. But there are so many products out there made from petroleum.
Why would anyone want a cell phone? They cost too much money. There is no signal in rural areas. The call quality is poor, A landline is better and never going away. ....
