Many others fail to see what you see Tesla is doing that by default is 2 Xing the ICE death spiral speed.

Tesla realized to hit their 2016 goal to build and sell 20 million EVS in 2030 that they had to speed things up by increasing their volume.

As Jeff points out in the video below, one can cut price as often as they wish as long as they reduce the cost of goods sold so profits at least stays the same if not improving. It seems Tesla is mastering that art.

You mean similar to the US taxpayers propping up GM and Chrysler after their bailouts in 2008?
No, it is the government continuing to prop up GM and Chrysler by allowing them to buy credits from Tesla rather than do the work themselves.

The only reason a company buys something from another is that it costs less than doing it themselves.

Let's remember that those bailouts occurred during an extreme recession and helping prevent loss of over a million jobs in autosector and suppliers . Bankruptcy of those 2 and potentially Ford would of decimated America's economy.
Chrysler and GM were recklessly managing the business. Conversely Ford saw the writing on the wall and sold plants and other holdings before the bust. Wisely made financial decisions.

Ford did not take a government bailout.

Had Chrysler and GM properly gone bust the Powers That Be that got the in trouble would have lost their shirts and jobs. Others would have acquired their facilities. Excess employees would have been shed, not all employees as the State Capitalists claim would have happened.

Thank you for your misguided opinion.....but the facts and many a more valid experienced financial expert (like my link above) disagrees with you. But thanks for playing. ;)
