Battery Box

I'm anticipating the coming snow and using my 853 diesel with the Berta snow thrower. I am nervous about the exposed battery. My experience in snow blowing is that the snow can go anywhere particularly when it's windy. I upgraded my battery to an Exide AGM which just fits in the stock battery tray. Any ideas on a box, cover, lid, etc for the battery or am I just being too nervous?

Boat battery box? If you were closer, I have several that are going to end up in the trash one of these days...

I'm trying to find something that will fit my battery and fit inside the stock tray. I can't find anything off the shelf. My key switch housing is welded to the battery tray. So removing the tray for a bigger one would mean relocating the key switch. I'll figure something out.

Did you find a solution? On my 850, the battery does get covered in snow. I don't do anything special to it other than park it in the barn afterwards. Sometimes it melts off, sometimes it stays covered in snow for weeks.
