My tractor battery is an ATLAS BX BX110BR and is 15" wide with a flat top and two terminal posts. There is also a small looking glass hole which shows the color blue when the battery is good. There are no normal caps on the top to check cell fluid level.
But when you look at the battery flat top, there are screwdriver slots on both ends of a section of the flat top. Makes me wonder if that section somehow pops off and allows checking the cells? Are tractor batteries like this serviceable for checking the cells?
The battery still charges and the looking glass shows blue but with it's age, I'm worried the cells may be drying out.
Thanks!
