I got off work early today and got my 6 rims painted... Boy what a pain to paint.. I was going to start painting the cyls cases.. but sky started to turn dark, and I wanted to stop before humidity got high.. besides, wind in my breezeway to my barn started to pick up..

So far I still need to paint the 3 cyl bodies. Luckily those will be easy.. they just connect by big pins and hairclips.

Then i need to apply my jd decals, as well as unmask the other safety decals, and then apply dot reflective tape to the edges, and finally the smv plaque. Originally I had it setup for one plaque... but I think I will add a plaque on each wing. I did similar on my fixed 10' mower.. that is.. 1 plaque on each edge.. etc.

Since we have gotten moisture 2 times this week, I believe i will have to mow this weekend.. so wednesday afternoon, and friday and saturday better be productive so i can mow on sunday!!

There should be some pics here already of the primed and painted batwing. I didn't have time today to get pics of the rims.. but I'll take pics when my wife gets back from georgia with my camera!!

Well, I got her finished today. I got the wing and tail cyl cases painted., finished unmasking the various safety decals, installed my SMV plaques along the back of the mower, and then added some DOT reflective tape to the front edges, sides and back of the mower for superior visibility.

It turned out great.. but boy am I glad it is done... this project worked my. Repairs were easy.. it was the painting that was hard. So many crevesas and raised and uneven surfaces to paint..

Yep, perhaps on friday when i take it back dow and park it.

It got so late yesterday that I didn't have time to move it once I finished it... All the animals were mooing and naying and clucking waiting for evening supper.. so i had to quit playing..er.. working on the mower and tend to my chores..

Yep.. i would have prefered blue.. but this was the affordable one that came up... beggers can't be choosers so to speak..
