Does anyone have any experience with either of these machines? Any and all info is appreciated as I am about to pull the trigger on one.

I have a baby Kubota L5240 (54 gross hp/ 52 net up and 45 PTO HP). These seem to be the only ones that I found that fit my machine. Seppi smallest is for a 60hp tractor.

I have three rear remotes so I will be able to move the rear door, top link etc.

The baumalight is a lot heavier weighing 2150lbs and the FAE is about 1500lbs. My rear lift capacity is 2900 lbs ish so I think I can handle them.

Thoughts please!!!!

Did they offer you a demo ? What is the cost difference ? The FAE is a proven name but my son bought a baumalite stump grinder for his 35 hp JD tractor and it is well made and works awesome . The Fae may have better trade in value . It also has a cam clutch instead of shear pins . Very good .

No demo and nothing even remotely close that I can find in my area to check one out. (or either one for that matter). Is the baumalight shear pin? I have to call the dealer on the baumalight but I think it's about 5+ grand more.

I am trying hard to search and look but being I have such a small tractor and this appears to be a Niche market it's hard to find.

I don’t know if it is a shear pin . What is the cost of the teeth ? The stump grinder teeth were inexpensive .

The teeth are $58 each which is pricey. The Rep told me that is retail and anytime you call will get 15-20% off. I asked what if I order an extra set now and he said he could do 30% off. Knowing teeth will be needed at some point I will just order a set. So $40 each (This is for the FAE, I don't know the cost of teeth for baumalight.). However, I think the baumalight has twice as many teeth to replace.

Just combing over some of my old threads. In case anyone cares, I went with the FAE and it's a sweet addition

Kenb2920, when you are cutting brush do you run tractor in forward motion ? Does the mulcher cut well in that manner ? Do you have to go over it a second time for finer mulch ? How thick is the brush you cut 1" to 3" ? I hope to upgrade to a 60 to 68 pto HP tractor with a seppi miniforst 175. I hope to use the bucket on the loader to push down the brush and let the mulcher do its job. How do you use your equipment ?

I back into majority of the brush ... if the material needs a finer finish, I will then drive forward over it. With that said, i bring in the top link when driveway moving backward and I extend the top link when driving forward....
