I just ordered a B7510 w/ a 48"BB. I just had some one tell I should have ordered a 60" instead. Any suggestions.

I have a 60" BB on my B2400 (24hp) and it is really more blade than it can handle easily, especially with the scarifiers at full depth. I think you'll be happier with your 7510's performance now than you would with the 60".

Burk, if you're just going to use a box blade to grade or smooth a driveway and things like that, the 60" would probably be good, but if you're going to dig in and drag a box full of dirt at a time, or if you have hard ground to dig into, the 48" will be better. I had a 48" box blade with my B7100 and a 60" with the B2710. To me, personally, the ideal size is the same width as the FEL bucket and should be slighly wider than the outside of your rear tires.

The 48 inch is correct for the 7500, a 60 inch would do for driveway grading but the 48 is a better all around match. I use a 48 with my 2410 and in hard ground it works it pretty good--a 60 inch would be to much. J

I bet the SOMEONE owns a bigger tractor and wants to borrow a BB that's to big for a B7510.

One extra pass here and there with a BB that the tractor can handle is faster than trying to move more earth than the tractor physically can move is a no brainer in my book.

I want to get one also for my B7500 but I just have too many stumps in the way.

Thanks, I sticking to the 48". They called and the tractor was delivered to the dealer yesterday. I realllly would like to have it by the weekend but they have 6 tractors to deliver and I don't know where I am in the pecking order. Thanks for the help everyone. I will take a picture first thing before I get it dirty.
