Greetings: I just traded a BCS Diesel 853 Tractor for a BCS 722 for the purpose of downsizing, smaller garden, diminishing muscle mass. The 722 runs fine but I noticed that the tractor won't "pivot" the way the 853 did (one wheel going forward and the other backwards). There is no "differential" engagement lever like is on the 853. Am I correct in thinking that this tractor drives with both wheels all the time and I can't expect it to pivot the way the 853 did? Thanks in advance!

Hi louky1150 ;)

I think that you are absolutely correct regarding your BCS 722:

BCS 722 - 8HP - Earth Tools

As you can see, Joel states that the BCS 722 has no differential. This means that both wheels are mounted on the same „solid“ axle, and will move as one unit. This is probably one of the disadvantages of a smaller tractor, compared to your BCS 853

Best regards

Jens
