BCS two-wheel tractors - factory quality issues, bad support

They're tractors in many parts of the world; the tractors USAID distributed in Afghanistan were two-wheel tractors, they just worked better in the mountains.

That said, I always found it a little amusing we were teaching generations of farmers how to farm.

My son was a combat medic in Afghanistan and said the area looked like the stone age.

Those stone age farmers produced some of the best tasting, if small, produce I've had in my life.

The sweetest grapes for sure, which was crazy. Tiny, very small, but so damn sweet.

We might call them "small batch," "artisan," but really they just can't produce in large scale.

If BCS is as expensive in the EU to buy as the prices I was quoted in the USA, I have some sympathy for the OP experiencing any leakage. Didn't end up buying because it seemed like so much money for a 2 wheel machine.
In the EU BCS 2-wheel machines are madly priced. To avoid any failure with used tractors the only solution to buy a new one. If I am able to sell it, the next one I buy will be also with Honda engine, which is the only good thing in that model.

Welcome to TBN. A great place to B#$ch about issues that should've been dealt with another way.

"From day one tractor had an oil leak."

Did you contact the seller? Why wait so long to escalate the issue?? You'll now have to just accept it and deal with the leak, for fix it yourself. Leaks aren't really hard to diagnose.
Well, one reason to buy a new machine was to avoid any further contacts to the seller. Do you think if mechanics here are such as described in my post, sellers are more keen in doing anything to clients except getting paid? After all, if seller answers the phone, accepts to repair the macnine, tractor will go to the same mechanic, with all consequences (see my post).
I did not intend to complain, only share the facts about my personal experience with this tractor brand and BCS policies regarding warranty and appointing dealers.
One more note about Powersafe clutch - it is overly complicated adding much more to the high BCS machine price.
