Bcs205

So I recently acquired a BCS 205. It had a bad motor on it so I replaced it with a 6.5 horsepower predator motor from harbor freight. It fit perfect everything is great except for every time I try to start the BCS now it wants to start in gear and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Anybody out there got an idea?
