Beach Grooming attachments

Hi Cleanbeaches,

See you've got a 4230. How do you find it? I bought one earlier this year from a scrap yard. It's a 1997 low profile model with what turned out to be 1400 hours on the clock - but it was in two pieces due to being hit by a car as it came out of a field.

Anyway, it's all back together now for about 50% of its true value which makes me smile /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

That beach cleaning sounds like a job that's right up my street - gotta be more fun than computers!

To follow up, I don't do if for a living. A friend had to contract to do it and I filled in a few times this summer. The Case was a good size for the big groomer, but the JX75 needed a little more oomph. It handled it fine, but after driving the big Case it was a step down. Beach grooming is almost over for the year, but snow grooming is coming up! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Peaking of snow...did you ever get that blower to work on your tractor?

Sort of. I found out the pump size and it from some digging on the internet I think it needs to turn almost twice as fast as the rear pto does. So I may try attaching it to the front of my tractor this year. I also scored a cheap snowplow blade I wanted to try out for smaller snowstorms. Jim, check out my pictures. I was able to drive a brand new 105hp McCormick with a rock rake. My friend was raking the field up behind the golf course, but he kept breaking the chain.
