Anyone know where to order the mini cigarette lighter type plug that New Holland was using for the beacon lights?

I've got a sprayer with an electronic actuator and since my tractor already has a switch for the non-existent beacon light, but the switch and wiring is already there, I'd like to use it. Local New Holland dealer and local Case dealer can't seem to find a plug for me to buy. My attempts at a google search just finds me threads in other forums where people are looking for the same thing. Most of the links in those threads are dead now.

No. Looks just like a cigarette lighter socket in a car, but a smaller diameter. I can get a picture tomorrow if it helps, but I think that description covers it.

No. That looks to be a standard cigarette lighter plug. This is a smaller diameter plug. A regular one is too fat to fit in the hole. Almost twice as big.

I understand that you want a smaller diameter 'cigarette lighter socket'... that being said, I found my socket at an automotive parts store.

One of those places that sells accessories, car stereos & such.

Did it have a special name or description? The one's I've seen at the auto parts stores here are all the standard size stuff. With this New Holland being made overseas, perhaps there are more than one standard size socket that are common in places other than the US. If it has a special name or description, it would help in the search.

Good point. When I look next time, I'll be sure to take my reading glasses. Although this is built into the roof of the cab and has a flip cover that plugs into the socket to keep the dust out. Not sure if there's any room for wording, but I'll take a look.

Might be a couple of days though since they're forecasting 3" - 5" or rain tomorrow.

The plug and socket are called Hella. I picked one up at a BMW motorcycle shop.

This is mine using the Hella plug:

The technical name is a DIN ISO 4165 plug. That might help you find one. AKA Hella plug or Powerlet.

The ones here are referred to as 'mini' 12VDC receptacle. Made by Mitsubishi.

Thanks for all the replies. The "mini" plug that is referred to as the Hella or BMW was the exact info I needed to find something online. The BMW angle means there's (relatively) local options as well.

I'll go shopping soon. If this Hella / BMW plug turns out to not fit, I'll report back. Otherwise assume (during future searches) that this indeed did work.

Thank you all for your help. I found a plug!
Now, a dumb question, which connection is positive? There's no marking on it and i don't want the pump to run backwards. I'm assuming the positive it the middle post and the neg are the tabs around it? Is that correct?
