Looked up from breakfast table and was surprised to see a large brown object, and it wasn't a turkey this time but much bigger. He looked rather pathetic as it had just rained.
This is about 12 feet from our porch.

There would have been a large brown object in my wife's pants had she seen that. The black bear is making a comeback in my area. I would love to see one.

Pretty cool pictures.

So, if a bear that size can casually come right up to your house, I am curious as to what protection you carry when working outside on your property? I am guessing its not the same as for snakes and a possible coyote.:laughing:

Cool pics. Being in the PNW, just be glad you looked out your window to see a bear instead of Bigfoot!!
