Bearing removal

I was ( finally) able to gGet the collar off with heat, Dremel tool and chisel to pop it off. There was no locking mechanism.

As others have pointed out the collar was the mechanism that locked the inner race to the shaft and it’s an eccentric.

Notice that the bearing is thicker on one side vs the other?

If you flip that locking collar around, you will notice it is too.

Clocked correctly and both will slide onto and off the shaft, however if rotated, the hole the two make together can become smaller than bearing ID, this is what locks them onto the shaft.
