just thought i would tell u folks how nice it is here tonight. have a window right next to me, and the outside light , is higlighting the snow as it is falling, it is one of those picture perfect snows,sounds kind of corny? but it is beautiful! may not think so tomorrow when i have to plow, but what the heck i am retired so i can do it at my leisure. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

It was 60 here yesterday. It is now 20. The 9 inches of snow they were calling for turned out to be about 2-3 and only about 1/2 inch of that stuck to the drive.

Hear, hear Frank! Didn't get near the snow they were calling for today / tonight (at least not yet) but we took the dogs out for a walk late this afternoon and it was just beautiful. Snow gently falling, ground with a fresh dusting, happy dogs, content persons...

Weatherbug on the puter says it's 28 degrees this morning. It'll drop a degree or two before daylight. Supposed to be a high near forty with a stiff northwind.

It's been almost a year since I've worn more than a thermal undershirt beneath my T. Looks like today I'll be wearing a jacket, ear muffs, and a grimace or two as I attempt to dig and set about thirty two posts for a short pipe rail fence five feet high. Old boy says anything shorter than five feet is jumpable by the longhorns.

Finally got some serious snow here in mid Michigan and want to go out and play with my snow removal toys.....but I got the flu a couple of days ago. Just my luck !!! First chance I have had to use my new JD for pushing snow and I can barely push the keys to type this message. Life isn't fair....
